Skid Steer Repair Where It Stopped, in Pueblo & Colorado Springs
Maverick Technical is a veteran-owned skid steer repair service in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. We drive to the jobsite or yard where the machine stopped and work on it there, so no trailer is needed.
Stuck mid-job? We roll out to you.
A skid steer that quits in the middle of a pour or a grading day puts the whole schedule on hold. Maverick Technical brings tools and diagnostic equipment to wherever the machine stopped and starts finding the cause on the spot.
Skid steers are a core part of our mobile equipment repair, and we work on site whenever the job can be handled safely and effectively.
Skid steer trouble we come out to fix
Tell us what the machine did right before it quit, and what it does now. Lift problems often connect to hydraulic repair, while drive and starting trouble are handled as skid steer work.
Won't Move
The engine runs but the machine barely creeps or won’t travel at all, checked where it sits.
Pulls to One Side
It drifts left or right under power, so we look at both sides of the drive on site.
Cranks, Won't Start
The starter turns but the engine won’t catch, with the cause traced at the jobsite.
Stalls When You Push
It runs fine empty, then dies as soon as you push into a pile or lift a full bucket.
Warning Lights On
Dash alerts that stay lit or flash, with codes read and tested at the machine.
Controls Feel Wrong
Joysticks that respond late or not at all, looked into before the next shift.

Skid Steer Repair FAQ
What contractors and property owners ask about skid steer repair at the jobsite in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
Do I need to trailer my skid steer to you?
No trailer needed. Maverick Technical comes to the machine, whether it’s parked on a jobsite, in a yard or on your property, and works on it there whenever the job can be handled safely and effectively.
How soon can you get to a stuck skid steer?
Timing depends on our schedule and how far out you are. Call as soon as the machine stops and tell us what the job needs, so we can work out the earliest visit.
My skid steer runs but won't drive. What now?
That usually means the engine is fine and something in the drive side isn’t. We test it where it sits and narrow it down. Tell us whether it creeps, drifts or does nothing.
Can you work on a tracked skid steer?
Wheeled and tracked machines are both part of our work. Mention which one you run when you call, along with what it’s doing, and we’ll plan the visit around it.
Why does my skid steer stall under load?
Stalling under load can come from the engine not keeping up or the system it’s driving asking for too much. We test both at the jobsite so you get a cause instead of a guess.
What if my skid steer is stuck in mud or tight access?
Tell us where it is and what the ground and access look like. We’ll talk through whether we can set up there and what we would need to get started.
Can you check my skid steer before a big job?
Yes. A look before a long job is cheaper than a breakdown halfway through it. Call and describe how the machine has been behaving, and we’ll talk through a pre-job check.
