Mini Excavator Repair at the Dig Site in Pueblo & Colorado Springs
Maverick Technical is a veteran-owned mini excavator repair service in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. We come to the dig site or yard, so a mini excavator doesn’t have to be hauled out for a diagnosis.
Dig site down? We bring the shop.
When a mini excavator loses its dig or its swing, a trench sits open and the schedule slips. Maverick Technical brings tools and diagnostic equipment to the dig site or yard and starts finding the cause where the machine is working.
Excavators are part of our mobile equipment repair, done on site whenever the job can be handled safely and effectively.
Mini excavator trouble we fix
Tell us which movement is wrong: the dig, the swing, the tracks or the boom. Weak movement often connects to hydraulic repair, and we’ll work out whether that’s the cause.
Lost Its Dig Power
The bucket barely bites or stalls in the dirt it used to cut with ease, tested at the dig site.
Slow or Jerky Swing
The cab turns slowly, hesitates or jerks, checked where the machine is working.
One Track Lags
It travels crooked or one side drags, looked over in your yard or at the site.
Boom Drops on Its Own
The boom or stick settles when you let go of the controls, tested on site.
Hard to Start in the Cold
Long cranking on cold mornings, or a start that doesn’t last, traced before the day gets going.
Thumb or Attachment Dead
A thumb, breaker or auger that stops responding, with the circuit checked at the machine.

Mini Excavator Repair FAQ
Straight answers about mini excavator repair at the dig site or yard in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Springs crews can start with our Colorado Springs mobile mechanic.
Can you fix a mini excavator at the dig site?
Yes. Maverick Technical comes to the dig site or yard and works on the excavator where it sits whenever the job can be handled safely and effectively. Tell us where it’s working and what it’s doing.
What if the repair can't be finished on site?
Some jobs take more than one visit or more than a site can offer. If yours does, we’ll tell you what the diagnosis shows and talk through the next step, so you can plan around it.
How do I pay for mini excavator repair?
We’ll go over payment on the phone once we know the machine and what it needs. Call with a short description, and you’ll know how it works before anyone picks up a wrench.
My excavator swings slowly. What causes that?
A slow swing can come from the swing motor, the hydraulic supply or the controls. We test each one at the machine so you get an answer instead of a guess. Tell us when the slowness started.
Why does my excavator's boom drift down?
A boom that settles when you release the controls points to a leak or a worn component somewhere in the circuit. We test it on site to find the source. Describe how quickly it drops.
Do you work on attachments like thumbs and breakers?
Yes, attachment circuits are part of the diagnosis. If a thumb or breaker won’t respond, tell us the machine and the attachment, and we’ll look into it on site and tell you what we find.
Can you reach a tight or sloped work area?
Dig sites aren’t always easy to reach. Tell us the layout, the slope and how close we can park, and we’ll talk through whether we can set up there safely.
